Sometimes photographs don't work, and by the time you have realised this it is too late to take something else. Sometimes it is a day or two later by the time it has been processed.
I don't much like this shot. The sky is murky because of the effect the processing has had, but I kept it in as a reminder of the need to refine processing technique.
It is often the case with 365 projects, at least in my experience, that you end up having to make the most of a bad photograph. Sometimes you use processing to try and eke something out, sometimes you just put in a bad shot because you have no other choice. Good planning and / or backup shots can help to reduce the chances of this, but my goal was to improve my photography so I didn't take backup shots as often as I might have done. I wanted to get it right first time, and so, when I didn't, the result wasn't always great.
