There is a field next to the road out of my estate where horses are often parked. As I drove past I noticed a horse standing in a useful position for the photograph, its breath condensing in the air.

These horses are always there so I could have carried on driving, but I decided to take the shot there and then.

That horse was on the other side of the field for the next few months (as I drove past anyway). It is a good idea to take the shot when you find it.
